SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

CRPS Network Australia’s (CRPSna, we, us) social media channels (the pages) provide an easily accessible opportunity for an exchange of information and communication between the CRPS community, members, stakeholders and the wider community.  We’d love for you to share your thoughts, comments, opinions and expertise on topics we talk about on these pages. However, in order to continue to make a positive and healthy contribution to the conversation guidelines have been put in place to ensure that all content available via CRPSna’s platforms are relevant, appropriate and respectful.

Terms of Use

If posting content on any of the pages you agree to comply with the following terms of use:

  1. CRPSna aims to communicate with the CRPS community, our followers, stakeholders and the wider community in an open and transparent manner to forge a supportive and interactive environment. We will endeavour to respond promptly and accurately.  However, we ask that our network of readers understand that for health and other reasons, we may not always be available in as timely a manner as we would like.  We respond to posts at our discretion and also encourage readers to respond to other posters.

 

  1. Any response posted by CRPSna is the personal view of the individual CRPSna staff member and does not necessarily reflect the view of the CRPSna organisation.

 

  1. CRPSna expects that users will respect other users as well as the posting guidelines of the social media platform itself and we reserve the right to edit or delete content that is:

 

  • abusive, defamatory or obscene;

  • fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;

  • in violation of any intellectual property rights;

  • in violation of any law or regulation,

  • contains advertising content or promotes other services, or

  • otherwise offensive and/or inappropriate.

 

  1. Any user who repeatedly posts material that falls into any of the above categories may be banned by CRPSna from participating in the pages.

 

  1. While CRPSna makes reasonable efforts to monitor and moderate content posted on the pages, CRPSna does not assume any responsibility to edit or delete any content it deems does not comply with these terms of use. CRPSna assumes no liability or responsibility for any action or inaction regarding content posted by users.

 

  1. Third party content posted to CRPSna’s pages should be in keeping with CRPSna’s values and mission. CRPSna may remove information that does not adhere to these values.

 

  1. Content that is posted on the pages is available to the public and may be used by CRPSna for internal and external purposes. CRPSna assumes no liability or responsibility for how third parties may use content posted on the pages. If users do not wish to have the content they have posted on the pages used, published or copied, they should not post the content.

 

  1. Any content, views, opinions and/or responses posted, expressed or submitted by users are solely the views, opinions and responsibility of those users and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of CRPSna. Under no circumstances will CRPSna be responsible or liable in any way for any content, including but not limited to, its accuracy, currency or completeness, any errors or omissions, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of any content posted on the pages, whether by CRPSna or a user. CRPSna does not endorse any content posted on the pages. Any reliance users place on such content is strictly at their own risk.

 

  1. CRPS will not tolerate spam.

  2. Any promotion on CRPSna’s social media pages is limited to events run by or associated with CRPSna. CRPSna may promote external events where relevant and at our discretion.

  3. The CRPSna community is welcome to share their CRPS news, events, photos, poems advise and questions etc to the pages as long as they adhere to our social media policy.

  4. CRPSna may post news about its corporate partnerships, however third-party content posted to the pages promoting non-affiliated products and services and events will be removed.

  5. Facebook may expose users to some risks, CRPSna is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered as a result of visiting the pages.
